Ukrainian farm machine-building works increased output over 100pc
Over the seven months of 2002 the 129 tractor-building and farm machine-building enterprises of Ukraine put out products and rendered services on the total value, equivalent to about $153 million in current prices, which is 100.1 percent up from the same period of 2001, information department of agrarian ministry reported.
Over this period products were sold on the total value, equivalent to about $153.2 million, including about $27 million value of export sales. The figures are 100.2 percent and 101.5 percent correspondingly to the sales volumes in Jan-Jul 2001. Export sales are 17.1 percent of the total sales volume. In Jan-Jul 2001 they were 15.8 percent.
