Ukraine: food production statistics in July
State Statistics Committee has informed that in July this year meat and variety meats production in Ukraine was 31,000 tonnes, being higher than in July 2001. Meat production in July increased 5.65 percent against June this year. The largest growth of production vs. last year was registered in poultry meat - up to 7,650 tonnes or by 70.2 percent.
Slight increase against last year was registered in flour production - up to 183,956 tonnes, or by 5 percent. Groats output stayed approximately on last year's level - 14,900 tonnes.
Bakery products output has decreased against last year - down to 182,600 tonnes or by 5.2 percent. Pasta production remained on the last year's level, being 6,590 tonnes.
