Kazakhstan will invest $162-194mln in its farm sector within 3 years
Within the next three years a sum, equivalent to US$162 to 194 million will be allocated for agricultural sector development in Kazakhstan, its Agriculture Minister Akhmedjan Yesimov has said today, being on a visit with farm inspection in Zapodno-Kazakhstanskaya region.
He said that these funds would basically go to veterinary service, pedigree livestock breeding development and plant protection. Besides, he said, a number of farm-related bills were going to be brought in at the nearest parliament session. These are Water Code, Land Code, the Law "About Insurance". Some US$38.8 million are going to be allocated for leasing programme development.
