Ukraine: raspberry let farmers make good money this year

According to information provided by ""Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits" weekly", the demand for raspberry has been significantly exceeded the supply during the whole season. Due to the unsatisfied demand for raspberry the producers have an opportunity to get a high price for their produce, which is mostly sold on freshmarket. The cost efficiency of raspberry production will be one of the highest among all agricultural crops this year, despite of the risks associated with raspberry production.

At the same time, high prices for raspberry did not let the processors purchase the required volumes of this berry. That's why the volumes of raspberry processing will stay relatively small despite of the production growth forecasted for this berry by the "Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits" analysts.
