Consolidation of ruble affects the profits of produce growers

The analysts of CIS produce business periodical, ""Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits" weekly" inform that the continuing consolidation of ruble currency affects the cost efficiency of fruit and vegetable production in Russian Federation. Due to the constant ruble rate towards the main world currencies the import of vegetables, fruits and berries is becoming cheaper. At the same time, Russian farmers have to bear the constantly growing expenses for the production of the agricultural crops.

You can get the details of the perspectives of fruit and vegetable production in Russia, and also the potential of the import growth for certain products of the produce group during the second international conference "Fruit&Vegetable Business of Russia. Market of New Opportunities", to be held on October 23rd-25th 2007 on the territory of EXPOCENTER in Moscow.
