VESTER to open hypermarket in Simferopol

Interfax informs, in the end of November 2007 VESTER retail chain (Russia) plans to open "Vester Hyper" hypermarket in Simferopol.

The company informed "Interfax-Ukraine" agency that around $4.3 mln. will be invested to open the hypermarket. The total square of hypermarket is 4,900 sq. m., trade floor is 3,500 sq. m.

At the present moment VESTER chain consists of 40 trade objects (hypermarkets, supermarkets and greengroceries), including 20 objects outside Kaliningradskaya region: in 12 towns of Russian Federation and one object in Karaganda (Kazakhstan). By the end of year the company is intended to open 10 more objects in the western regions of Russia, and also in Ukraine (Simferopol, Ternopol) and in Belarus (Minsk).

According to earlier information, VESTER group of companies forecasts the turnover of its retail chain of $606 mln. in 2007 to increase up to $10 billion in 2011.
