Odesa company to promote Dutch products

Dutch company Oerlemans, one of the largest producers of frozen vegetables in Europe, intends to sign a contract with "Levada" company, producing meat semi-ready products in Odesa. The contract is focused on the supplies of frozen vegetables and vegetable mixes under "Levada" trademark to Ukraine. Informational site of Odesa provided this information.

Oxana Belotserkovskaya, the Marketing Director of "Levada " company, informs that the products for Ukrainian market will be produced on Oerlemans plant in Poland; vegetables will be packed in the packages with Odesa trademark on the same plant. According to Mrs. Belotserkovskaya, Oerlemans will be in charge for all issues related to the production and packing of vegetables; "Levada"'s objective is to provide the transportation and promotion of the products in Ukrainian retail.

The specialists consider the contract between "Levada" and Oerlemans to be mutually profitable, because "Levada" owns a recognizable brand and a good distribution chain. The company can easily approach the retail, so that Oerlemans will enter Ukrainian market with fewer problems.

Note. "Levada" company is founded in 1994; it has been operating own production since 1998, when it purchased fast-food production plant in Odesa. In 2006 "Levada" company produced 18,200 tons of semi-ready products worth to the total sum of $ 28.6 mln.
