"Chumak" will produce food under "Aro" TM for Metro Cash & Carry

Johan Boden, the Director on Development, "Chumak" company, informed CIS produce business periodical "Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits" weekly that the company's managers are negotiating now the production of food under "Aro" TM with Metro Cash & Carry chain of the wholesale supermarkets. This will be the Private Lable of the chain. Due to this opportunity the company will be able to increase the production volumes of the main types of products, such as ketchups, sauces, mayonnaise, tomato paste, juice, pasta products, sunflower oil and canned vegetables under "Chumak" and "Darina" trademarks.

As of today, according to Mr. Boden, "Chumak" produces products for supermarket chain Fozzy Group (chains "Silpo", "Fora", "Fozzy", "Dnipryanka") under Private Lable "Premia". Also, in 2001 "Chumak" won the tender for mayonnaise and ketchup "Calve" production for Unilever company.

The company's management has also confirmed its participation in the fourth international conference "Fruits and Vegetables of Ukraine 2007. Meeting New Leader" to be held on the 4th-6th of December 2007 on the territory of the National Complex "Expocenter of Ukraine" in Kyiv. The company's representative is expected to tell about the perspectives of vegetable raw materials production for processing in Ukraine.
