Ukraine: increased fruit harvest 2007 let processors zoom up the volumes of fruit jam, jelly, paste and puree

The analytical service of CIS produce business weekly "Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits" informs, the production of fruit and nut jam, paste, puree and jelly has increased 12% during 9 months of 2007 comparing to the same period of time in 2006. To the analysts' opinion, the main reason for the production to grow was the increased fruit and berry harvest in 2007 in Ukraine. According to our estimations, it accounted to 22% comparing to the previous year. The increased fruit harvest let Ukrainian enterprises increase the purchase of fruit and berry raw materials.
