"Sandora" plans to launch to new juice packing lines in April 2008
LLC "Sandora" (Nikolayevskaya region), the largest producer of juice products in Ukraine, plans to launch two new lines of juice packing into Tetra-Packs in April 2008.
On the 13th of November the Press Service of the company informed Interfax-Ukraine that the capacity of juice packing line into 2 L packs is 5,000 of packs per hour; into 0.2 L packs - 20,000 of packs per hour.
The lines will be installed on "Sandora" juice production plant in the village Meshkovo-Pogorelovo, Nikolayevskaya region.
The company's representatives explained that the launch of new juice packing lines for 2 L and 0.2 L packs is predetermined by market trends - the increased consumption, in particular.
We have already informed that this year PepsiCo and PepsiAmericas purchased 100% of the authorized capital of LLC "Sandora".
"Sandora" share on Ukrainian juice market is estimated to 47%. The production capacities of the company include the plant for fruit, vegetable processing and juice production (Nikolayevskoye), juice production plant (Meshkovo-Pogorelovo, Nikolayevskaya region), two plants for fruit & vegetable processing (Rodnikovoye, AR Crimea, and Kazachyi Lageri, Khersonskaya region).
The portfolio of company's trademarks includes seven juice brands "Sandora Exclusive", "Sandora" and "Sandora Mors", "Sandora Multiactive", "Sandora Classic", "Sandorik", "Dar", "Sadochok", cold tea SANDAY and two wine brands "Golden Olvia" and "Celebration Collection".
In 2007 "Sandora" intends to increase 24% the production of juice products, almost up to 650 mln. packs; past year the company built the production 31% up, almost to 521.6 mln. packs.
The company also plans to increase 15% wine production, up to 17.6 mln. itmes.
According to the conclusions of 2006, the company produced 14.5 mln. items of wine products, or 30% more than in 2005. The company does not release the production volumes in liters.
The capacity of juice market of Ukraine is estimated to 550 mln. liters; this year it will increase up to 650 mln. liters, according to experts' estimations.
