"Agrosoyuz" constructs new greenhouses in Tikhvinskiy district

"Agrosoyuz" creates a new capacity for greenhouse vegetable production on the basis of Tikhvinskiy greenhouse complex, "Business Petersburg" informs.

The investments to this projects amounted to more than EUR 900,000 of credit funds. Andrey Kazakov, the manager of this project, told that the greenhouse of 1.5 ha acreage is constructed jointly with the consulting firm DLV Plant BV in the framework of the technical assistance program between Russian Federation and Kingdom of Netherlands.

"A new technology of vegetable production is implemented at the enterprise - it let us reduce energy consumption and increase yield by means of the improved micro-climate. The construction of new greenhouse will start to pay back in 2008", Andrey Kazakov explained.

Next year "Agrosoyuz" intends to produce greenhouse vegetables on the acreage of 200 ha in Tikhvinskiy district.
