Experts forecast stable low price for onion in Poland in winter

Poland harvested enough onion in 2007 to satisfy market demand, Ebronisze.pl informs, the information sponsor of the fourth international conference "Fruits and Vegetables of Ukraine 2007. Meeting New Leader". Also, the experts believe that onion stocks are sufficient in the other countries - producers of this crop in EU, namely Holland and Belgium.

In this regard, according to analysts' forecasts, the price growth for onion on the inner market of Poland won't exceed EUR 0.02-0.02/kg till March inclusive. To the opinion of trade sources, the low interest to onion purchases for the purpose of flash freezing may also affect the prices.
