Opened JSC "Sady Pridonya" established 300 ha of new orchards in 2007

Opened JSC "Sady Pridonya" informed "Agrooglyad: Vegetables and Fruits" weekly that the company has planted more fruit orchards in 2007 than any other fruit producer in Russian Federation - 300 ha during one season. Also, those orchards were fully restored in 2007 which were frost-injured in 2005-2006.

"No other Russian company performs such volumes of orchard establishment like "Sady Pridonya", A. Samokhin, the President of the company, observed. "We provide the consumers with the guaranteed "first hand" quality, because we control the whole production chain - from seedling production from the seed to fruit processing and production of ready food. Today we increase the square of the orchards in order to preserve the unique advantage, to protect company from the fluctuations of the unstable world market of raw materials".

According to the plan of strategic development of "Sady Pridonya", the company to increase the volumes of fruit production up to 150,000 tons/year, vegetable production up to 50,000 tons/year in several years. Exactly this quantity of raw materials is needed to load the capacities of processing and production of fruit and vegetable products.
