Large potato processing plant to be constructed in Yaroslavskaya region

A large potato processing plant of 15,000 tons/year capacity will soon be constructed in the agricultural enterprise named after 8th of March, in Rybinsk suburb. The plant will be fully automatic.

Human hands won't touch the bulbs in the processing facility. Potato will be grown in several local farms according to western technology; the yield of "the second bread" should be not less than 350 centners/ha.

According to calculations, the expenses for a new enterprise establishment will be paid back in 3 years. The plant will supply ready products - tasty, clear, sorted, packed in fine plastic packs potato - to Moscow shops, restaurants and cafes. By the way, a new processing enterprise will be mostly constructed thanks to the funds provided by Moscow investors. This is not a unique example when the capital businessmen invest to the agriculture development of Yaroslavskaya region as to the profitable business- they respond to the appeal to Yuri Luzhkov, Moscow mayor.

In its turn, Moscow s a perspective sales market for the produced food, prospective and trustworthy investor, and a strategic partner in agri-business for Yaroslavl.
