Ukraine signed agriculture cooperation agreement with Belarus
Following negotiations in Minsk, Ukraine and Belarus have signed an agreement about mutual cooperation in farm sector.
Under the agreement Ukraine will be supplying to Belarus pedigree seeds of sunflower and sugar beet. It is decided in the first quarter of 2003 to sign an additional agreement about joint activities in seed breeding.
The two countries have also discussed the issues of mutual cooperation in farm machine-building, establishment of joint enterprises for meat poultry breeding, supplies of Ukrainian wine materials to Belarus.
