Ukraine set minimal prices on sugar and sugar beet in 2002/03 year
On December,25 Ukrainian government set minimal prices on sugar and sugar beet - 2370 hrn and 165 hrn per tone correspondently - for the period from 1st September of 2003 to 1st September of 2004 according to act "About state regulation of production and sale of sugar".
The government also set the next season "A" quota for sugar production for domestic consumption at the rate 1.8 mln t.
