Moldova: grape-growers to suffer damage

The grape-growers do not want to work at a lose and want the government establish order in the industry, reported Komsomolskaya Pravda in Moldova. Nobody wants to purchase raw material. The enterprises decrease the volumes of production due to excess of the produce. The prices for grape are declared by the processing plants within a range of $0.18 – 0.20/kg with the conditions of payment delay.

The main reason of this problem is that the wineries do not have funds to make payments for purchase raw material. “We want the government to solve the problem, otherwise all grape-growers will lose everything”, noted one of the grape-growers.
