Azerbaijan harvested 1.27 mln tonnes of potatoes and 1.137 mln tonnes of vegetables

According to data of the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan, as of October 1, 2008, 1.27 mln tonnes of potatoes and 1.137 mln tonnes of vegetables were harvested. Also, 404.800 tonnes of grounds and melons and 76.400 tonnes of grapes were harvested.

In general, during the period of January-September 2008, gross volume of agrarian production totaled 1,665 billion euro that is up 8.3% as compared to the same index of the last year, reported “Interfax-Azerbaijan” .
