Russia: persimmon harvesting in progress in Sochi

At the moment farmers of Sochi are harvesting persimmon crop. It can be bought throughout the territory from the coast of the Black Sea to Rostov oblast.

As a rule, persimmon is harvested when it is half-ripe to provide safe transportation.

Persimmon orchards need to be cultivated during the all-year-round period, thus, this hard work needs large costs of manual labor, reported “Skavkaz.rfn.ru".
