Russia: prices for spring onion continue decreasing

According to the information provided by the specialists of Fruit-Inform project, prices for spring onion in Moscow and Leningrad regions continue decreasing. Representatives of wholesale companies reported that the main reason of negative price adjustments is increase of spring onion supplies from hothouse industrial complexes. At the moment, the prices on markets of Leningrad region are declared within a range of 4.08- 4.38 euro/kg, whereas during the last week minimum price totaled 5.84 euro/kg. The prices on the markets of Moscow region were declared within a range of 1.46-1.75 euro/kg that is 40% less as compared to the last week indices.
