Ukraine: prices for fresh herbs to decrease

According to information provided by the specialists of Fruit-Inform project, reduction in prices for fresh herbs was observed in Ukraine. As producers reported, increase of supplies from hothouse industrial complexes was the main reason of negative price adjustments. The other reason that negatively influenced on prices is large volumes of open-soil fresh herbs from private farms entered the market. At the moment selling prices for fresh herbs are declared within a range of 1.27-3.17 euro/kg , down 15 % compared to the same indices of the last year.
