Moldova: exports of nuts decreased

According to statistics data, during the period since January till September 2008, general volume of nuts exports from Moldova decreased by 18 %, compared to the same period of the last year and totaled 810 tonnes. During the reporting period, Moldova exported nuts to 30 countries, such as Russia, Ukraine and Israel.

The first-rate importers of Moldavian nuts are France (import volume totals 1.900 tonnes, import value 10.253 $), Turkey (485 tonnes, import value 1.994 $), Australia (423 tonnes, import value 2.980 $), Greece (481 tonnes, import value 3.360 $), Germany (397 tonnes, import value 3.155 $).
