Ukraine created commission to harmonise farm products standards with EU requirements
An interdepartmental commission have been established in Ukraine to provide for execution of the EU requirements concerning harmonisation of standards for agricultural raw materials and products. The commission will also be in charge of harmonisation of sanitary, environmental, veterinary and phyto-sanitary norms with international and European standards. The commission is headed by Vice-Prime Minister for Agriculture Ivan Kyrylenko.
