Grain traders are not going to be persecuted - President of Ukraine
Ukraine's President Leonid Kuchma declared that no anti-market measures were going to be taken in Ukrainian grain market.
"We will never take to anti-market measures", he said to a news-conference Thursday.
"We are by no means going to persecute grain traders or take measures, involving law-enforcement authorities", he said.
At the same time, he said, government should take measures so that Ukrainian citizens were provided with bread. "We must think in summer what people are going to eat in winter", he said.
