President of European Business Association gave positive assessment to Ukrainian agricultural reforms

President of European Business Association Jorge Intariago has given positive assessment to the rates of reforms in Ukrainian agriculture.

As he said to the participants of round-table meeting "Consequences of EU Enlargement for Agriculture and Processing Industry of Ukraine" in Simferopol, "that which was unmanageable during 10 years has become possible in the last 6 months". According to him, if the reforms are continued at the same rate, "we will become witnesses of a historical moment, when Ukraine reaches international level". He thinks that the factors encouraging reforms have become changes of legislation in the sphere of taxation, entrepreneurship, etc.

The round table meeting was organised by Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Ministry of Economy and for the Issues of European Integration. Among the participants there were representatives of the Cabinet of Ministers, Verkhovna Rada, the Embassy of Poland in Ukraine, deputies of the Crimean parliament, members of government.
