Lviv office of Agricultural Marketing Project conducts the seminar "Marketing channels extension. Storing, packing and transportation of fruit and vegetable commodities"
Lviv office of Agricultural Marketing Project (AMP) invites all the interested to take part in the seminar "Marketing channels extension. Storing, packing and transportation of fruit and vegetable commodities" to be conducted in Lviv on December 22nd, 2004.
It is expected that there will be present the leaders of farms - producers of fruit and vegetable commodities, who are the AMP clients to the present moment; representatives of wholesale and retail trade, of the processing companies; and the representatives of input companies. The questions of the extension of marketing channels for fruit and vegetable sales will be discussed during this seminar.
One of the important questions to be considered will be the meeting of the requirements of wholesale/retail buyers, processing enterprises and final consumers concerning the quality of the supplied commodities. The possibilities to set up a mutually beneficial cooperation between all the market players will be also discussed.
As the year 2004 comes to its end, the AMP specialists together with the seminar participants will summarize the results of AMP activities in Lviv oblasts during the year 2004 and will draft the priority directions of the work plan for 2005.
All seminar participants will receive the reference book with the materials of the newest technologies for fruit and vegetable production and marketing, including the applying of agrifibre and seed coating. The participants can also have consultations concerning seed production, choice of varieties and hybrids, protection and marketing of fruit and vegetable commodities.
